In 2019 when Bill and I planned what would become Lone Bear Cottages, our desire was to include things we loved about living in Dahlonega. Quiet mornings, drinking coffee on the front porch in rocking chairs, enjoying the deer and turkey. Having a glass of wine on the back deck while watching the amazing sunsets and enjoying the smell of steaks on the gas grill. I love to cook, so I've fully equipped each kitchen with everything needed for cooking or grilling.

Private outdoor fire pits provide a perfect space to laugh and have fun with family and friends or simply enjoy a night of stargazing, and we'll provide the wood!

Our cottages are clean, modern and rest in quiet seclusion between historic Dahlonega and Cleveland Georgia. Large windows provide lots of natural light to bring in all the outdoor beauty.

They are located minutes from many local wineries, multiple wedding venues and other family activities which include gold panning, hiking, tubing or discovering historic Dahlonega, Cleveland and Helen.
